BOYS2MEN PROJECT

BOYS2MEN PROJECT reaches out to young men to provide structure, support them in day-to-day challenges. It helps young men to set career goals and start taking steps to realize them and most importantly it guarantees that there is someone who cares about them.  Our goal is to help young men find solutions to the struggles they face.  From birth society has marked the young black male with negative stereotypes. Conditioning them with the glamorization of Drugs and Violence, not leaving them with a voice of their own.  We must give our young men a platform to be heard.

Bridging the gap between the Police and the Communities NBB places Officers of the Law to Direct, Mentor and Lead the BOYS2MEN Programs.

BOYS2MEN Project is for young men between the ages of 13-18 yrs. in THE JUVENILE SYSTEM and/or in need of a second chance, steering them TOWARDS SELF-SUFFICIENCY, learning Hands on skills, Sports, Employment & Educational opportunities, allowing them to make informed decisions and become productive citizens. Through community service they experience a sense of belonging, understanding the importance of community building.seeking to break the barriers by being open to Change.

The program is in its second year, and was established through NBB under the Mentoring Leadership of Councilman Clemon Byrd (Ward 1) of Auburn, Alabama who is adamant about reaching out to young men in not only his community but also in communities worldwide.  Because of the high demand for more male role models to step up and take action in their communities and make a difference, NBB is now establishing BOYS2MEN programs in Auburn/Opelika Alabama Tuskegee, Alabama and Detroit, Michigan and soon in a community near you.

NBB asks you to JOIN THE MOVEMENT.  Become a sponsor to help BOYS2MEN grow worldwide. Become a mentor to be the CHANGE that you want to see in the World.
